Blood pressure monitor
The classic arterial pressure measurement is performed with mechanical devices on the upper arm. An analog pressure gauge and a rubber ball are attached to a cuff and connected by tubes. The pressure cuff is placed on the upper arm, just above the elbow, and inflated with the rubber ball. During slow deflation, swirling sounds (Korotkow sound) occur, which can be used to determine the systolic and diastolic arterial pressure values with the aid of a stethoscope.
Provita supplies rolling stands for digital manual blood pressure measurement. These infusion stands often have a mounting plate for the display module, as well as a basket for storing the cuff.
