Illuminance

The unit LUX [lx] is used exclusively for the physical quantity "illuminance". The luminous intensity depends on the illuminant used. In the case of the Provita Examination Light Series 1, this is approx. 40,000 lux at a distance of 500 mm. Note: Luminous intensity is only rarely used as a term in lighting technology - see the term "luminous intensity".
