Light color
The light color of a light source describes the color impression that is created when the light of this light source falls directly into the eye. Monochromatic (single-color) light is defined by the dominant wavelength. Mixed colors can be specified either by the chromaticity coordinate x, y in the standard chromaticity diagram or, in the case of temperature emitters, approximately by the most similar color temperature Tn. LEDs produce approximately monochromatic light, their light color is determined by the semiconductor used. The structure of the white LED makes it possible to produce all other light colors.
